Terms of Service

Last updated: January 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of the PBES website. Service engagements are separately governed by the written proposal, quote, or master services agreement executed between PBES and the customer; if those documents conflict with anything below, the signed agreement controls.

1. Website use

The PBES website is provided for informational purposes about our biomedical inspection, repair, and equipment-management services. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation.

2. No professional advice

Content on the site — including compliance overviews, checklists, and sample reports — is general information. It does not constitute regulatory, legal, or clinical advice. Always confirm requirements with your accrediting body, AHJ, and qualified counsel before making compliance decisions.

3. Service engagements

Actual biomedical services, inspections, repairs, and asset-management programs are provided only under a written proposal, work order, or master services agreement. Pricing, scope, warranties, and service-level terms are defined there.

4. Intellectual property

The PBES name, logo, and site content are the property of Physicians Biomedical Equipment Services and may not be copied or used without written permission, except that customers may share sample reports and quotes internally as intended.

5. Third-party links

Links to accreditor, standards, and manufacturer sites are provided for convenience. PBES is not responsible for the content or availability of external sites.

6. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PBES does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PBES is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state and federal courts located in Florida.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
